Conventional rail wheel towed type raise boring machine (RBM) faces great difficulty in transfer during down-hole operation in a modern trackless mine. The time-consuming and strenuous process of disassembly, transportation and reassembly severely constrains its popularization and application in a modern mine.
Based on mature techniques, in particular, the host module and the hydraulic system module of conventional RBM, we have successfully developed the CY-R80V/CY-R120V series crawler self-propelled type RBM with creative diesel-electric dual-power unit and crawler type walking chassis, of which various technical indicators reach the advanced level among international peers.
